In three case studies the Autor attempts to get to the bottom of the well-known and frequently used remedy. This highlights the major themes and the psychodynamics of the trauma remedy, which in folk medicine was also called 'Fallkraut'. Arnica acts beyond the acute diagnosis, reaching into the deeper layers of the three affected female patients.
