David Warkentin has died

David Warkentin was one of the great revolutionaries of homeopathy. With his software MacRepertory and ReferenceWorks he had a major influence on the development of modern homeopathy.

Below we publish excerpts from the obituary by the team at his company "Kent Homeopathic Associates".

"We mourn the death of our friend, mentor and founder David Warkentin, who passed away on Thursday, 9 September 2010. He was 59 years old. David died peacefully at home, surrounded by those he loved.

The diagnosis of "brain tumours and melanoma" in early July gave him little time to respond to all the loving letters and e-mails he received in support.

David founded "Kent Homeopathic Associates" in 1986 with the programmes MacRepertory and ReferenceWorks. He worked for over two decades with the world's leading homeopaths and authors, and he lives on in the programmes he created for homeopathy.

A memorial service will be held in California on 3 October, with attendees expected from around the world to commemorate him and to express their love and gratitude for him and his life's work."
