Family secrets come to light in the fever of a croup attack and can be worked through.
This case report demonstrates the significance of fever as an important healing reaction, which can also bring unresolved traumas to the surface and render them amenable to treatment. Using the example of Bromium and the halogens, it shows how deeper constitutional processes are expressed in the acute illness.
