Oxytocin and possible differential therapies in the newborn.
An important new remedy for treating newborns with attachment, stress or feeding problems is oxytocin, which has only recently been investigated. The author explains and supplements the materia medica of this medicine and, using case examples, sets out the differential diagnosis in relation to Placenta humana, Opium, Lac humanum and Nux vomica, which may also be indicated for stress and attachment problems in newborns.
