Vasant Lad

Vasant Lad is an Ayurvedic doctor. In 1968 he was awarded the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.M.A.S.) at Pune University and in 1980 the Master of Ayurvedic Science (M.A.Sc.) in Pune, India.
He worked for three years as medical director of the Ayurveda Hospital in Pune. He was professor of clinical medicine at the Pune University College of Ayurvedic Medicine for seven years, where he taught for many years. Vasant Lad's academic and practical training includes the study of allopathy (conventional western medicine) and surgery as well as the study of traditional Ayurveda.
