Arthur Hill Grimmer
Arthur Hill Grimmer, 1874 – 1967
Grimmer grew up in California. His father had a small homeopathic home kit.
At the age of just seven, clever little Arthur already knew the indications for all the remedies. By the age of eight, he was successfully treating patients.
In 1902 he enrolled in the Hering academy of Chicago, soon becoming Kent's protégé.
He worked together with Kent and taught for Kent when the latter was busy.
After Kent's death, Grimmer took over his practice.
He was president of the International Hahnemannian Association as well as the American Institute of Homeopathy.
Grimmer remained in Chicago, retiring in 1959. He then moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, where he died on March 5, 1967.
