Organic chlorella powder from Unimedica contains 100% certified organic Chlorella vulgaris. Chlorella is a monocellular green alga. Chlorella algae grow only in freshwater. The colour comes from the green plant pigment chlorophyll.

The algae are gently dried and pressed. This carefully breaks the strong 3-layered cell wall of the chlorella algae, making them more easily digestible and increasing their bioavailability.
