What is ionic magnesium?

Ionic magnesium from Unimedica consists of the high quality branded raw material Mega-Mag Trace® Minerals. This is 100 % concentrated seawater from the Great Salt Lake in Utah (USA). This seawater is a rich natural source of concentrated magnesium ions with further minerals and trace elements.

The magnesium in seawater is in the form of dissolved salts. This means that the natural magnesium salt from the seafloor dissolves in the water from the pure metal magnesium, so that electrically charged particles – ions - arise. These pure magnesium ions easily reach the centre of the cells where they can be used, for example, to generate energy and exert other effects. Minerals can only reach the cells when ionised.

Gradually increase

To effectively use ionic magnesium, it is recommended to start with 1 ml a day, gradually raising the dose to up to 4 ml. The drops should be staggered through the day and consumed with a great deal of liquid (water or juice to mask the stark mineral taste).
