Willis Alonzo Dewey
1858-1938
came from Middlebury, Vermont.
He finished his studies at the New York Homeopathic Medical College in 1880.
He became Professor of Anatomy and Materia Medica at the Hahnemann Medical College in San Francisco, before later teaching materia medica at the University of Michigan Homeopathic Medical Department.
Dewey worked closely with William Boericke, and together they published “The Twelve Tissue Salts.” He wrote textbooks for students in the form of questions and answers – 100 years later, these are still popular.
