OPC Ultra 65% OPC by Unimedica is highly concentrated and provides 500 mg of grape seed extract per capsule with 65% pure OPC. The vegan capsules contain only pure grape seed extract encapsulated in cellulose as a plant-based capsule shell.
How do the OPC get into the capsule?
French grape seeds are used for Unimedica’s OPC Ultra 65% OPC capsules. The grape seed extract is obtained by gentle water extraction. This mild extraction method ensures that the valuable constituents of the sun-kissed French grapes are largely preserved. This is how the very high OPC content of 65% can be achieved.
What is OPC?
Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) are flavanols. These secondary plant compounds belong to the polyphenols. They serve as UV protection for plants, but also help defend against parasites and endure particular climatic conditions. OPC Ultra capsules from Unimedica contain this natural plant defence compound.
Is OPC only found in grapes?
OPC is found in the skins and seeds of red grapes, but also in the red skins of peanuts, in coconut and in apples. Each bottle of OPC Ultra capsules from Unimedica contains 240 capsules. That corresponds to a 4-month supply.
Vegan and free from unwanted additives
Vegan capsule shell made from pure plant cellulose (HPMC), free from carrageenan and PEG. OPC Ultra 65% OPC capsules from Unimedica are, as required by law, free from preservatives and contain no additives such as colourings, stabilisers, anti-caking agents like magnesium stearate, and are non-GM, lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan.
