Pioneering work has recently been done with the potentisation of various mosses, a range of sense provings and the initial gathering of clinical experience on the use of the moss remedies. In the terminology of the periodic table, the range of experience of moss patients is restricted to the Silicon series, the area of the family. They are overtaxed by complex social demands (that is, from the Iron series onwards). So they remain in the background and are not especially capable. Whereas the typical group characteristics are easy to recognise, the individual mosses are difficult to differentiate in practice. Two cases of Aulacomnium palustre provide indications for precise remedy diagnosis.
