The Homeopathic Children’s Congress in Badenweiler has now become an annual institution. In 2009 and 2010 there were over 300 participants who gave outstanding feedback.
Once again top-quality speakers have been invited for the third Children’s Congress on March 18th-20th, 2011.
On the first day, the well-known French homeopath Dr. Didier Grandgeorge will speak on acute childhood ailments such as fever, bronchitis, middle ear infection, sinusitis, injuries and their homeopathic treatment.
Following this, Dr. Frans Kusse will describe remedy pictures from his extensive clinical experience. He will refer to levels of prescriptions and the most important children’s types.
On day two, Dr. Farokh Master will discuss case-taking tailored to infants and children, clinical observation and unusual homeopathic remedies. Dr. Dinesh Chauhan will close the day’s congress with the theme: Sankaran’s case-taking techniques with children.

The third day will open with Dr. Martin Hirte, who will report on specific vaccines and his clinical experience. He will also address the important theme of streptococcal infections (tonsillitis, scarlet fever) in practice.  A further speaker on day three is the famous author
Dr. Heiner Frei
, who will give a presentation on the polarity analysis of Boenninghausen in the homeopathic treatment of psychological problems such as ADHS in children and young people.

  Dinesh Chauhan, a close and trusted colleague of Rajan Sankaran, teaches courses worldwide on the new method. He is able to offer a brilliantly simple, step-by-step explanation of Sankaran’s new case-taking technique and its particular use with children.

Sunday March 20th   Martin Hirte: Vaccines, streptococcal infections

Martin Hirte will speak on streptococcal throat infections and scarlet fever, clarifying the risks and benefits of antibiotic and homeopathic treatment. He brings cases from the varied day-to-day practice of a children’s clinic. In addition, he explains how he proceeds in terms of advice on vaccination for infants during the first year of life.

14:00 - 17:00   Heiner Frei: Psychological problems in children

Boenninghausen’s Therapeutic Pocketbook contains relatively few mental symptoms. In his procedure, determination of the remedy mainly followed from the modalities where possible (Organon § 133). The mental symptoms were considered during the subsequent materia medica comparison in case-taking. Boenninghausen’s concept was refined and polished with polarity analysis.
This presentation will introduce and explain this method in relation to the psychological problems of children and young people.


The Speakers


Didier Grandgeorge

 

The leading French homeopath Dr. Didier Grandgeorge was born in Lyon in 1950. He completed his medical education in 1980. He studied homeopathy at the Hahnemannian School of Dauphiné- Savoy under Dr. Bourgarit and Dr. Demangeat. Since 1980 he has been President of the Hahnemannian School of Fréjus and he teaches homeopathy at the Faculty of Medicine in Marseille. He has specialized in the treatment of children in particular.

He is the author of a range of homeopathic books including Homeopathic Remedies for the Stages of Life: Infancy, Childhood, and Beyond. Didier Grandgeorge is one of the greatest homeopathic clinicians, with over 30 years’ experience in the treatment of children – even in severe cases. His brief, incisive cases are always impressive. Didier Grandgeorge regularly conducts international seminars in Canada, Russia, Italy, Spain and other European countries. The renowned pediatrican Dr. Patricia Le Roux completed her training with Didier Grandgeorge.

Frans Kusse

 

 

 

The genial Dutch physician Dr. Frans Christiaan Kusse, born in 1952, studied psychology and sociology before becoming a doctor. On completing his doctorate, he established himself as a homeopathic physician in Amsterdam in 1984. In 1995 he set up a homeopathic medical center, also in Amsterdam, where six homeopathic doctors now work.

In his book Children’s Types he describes 56 key homeopathic children’s remedies. He skillfully describes in particular the psychological traits of each remedy, painting clear and easily recognizable remedy pictures.   

Due for publication in 2010, Dr. Frans Kusse’s book on adult remedy pictures Homeopathic Types focuses in particular on mental symptoms.

Farokh Master

 

 

 

 

Dr. Farokh Master is one of the best-known Indian homeopaths.
Since 1980  he has been a professor at the University of Mumbai (Bombay). He acts as a homeopathic consultant in the largest homeopathic hospital in India, where he successfully treats patients whose conditions do not readily respond to conventional medicine.
In 1984 he established a homeopathic health center which also treats patients with low incomes. Dr. Farokh Master has an enormous workload -- an 18-hour day is by no means unusual – with correspondingly high clinical experience.
His book Clinical Observations of Children's Remedies, now in its 3rd edition, has already become a classic.

Dinesh Chauhan

 

 

Dinesh Chauhan, born in 1974, studied homeopathy at the Homoeopathic Medical College, Irla, in Mumbai, India.
His training with Rajan Sankaran left a decisive mark on him, enabling him to develop a deep understanding of homeopathy.
Dinesh Chauhan compiled Rajan Sankaran’s two books An Insight into Plants, Volumes 1 and 2.

Today he is part of Rajan Sankaran’s team, teaching both home and overseas students. Foreign students from all over the world regularly participate in training in his clinic.

Dinesh Chauhan also gives regular seminars in countries including Denmark, England, South Africa, Korea, and Japan. A young talent, who promises still greater potential in future.

Dinesh Chauhan is author of the book The Journey into the Human Core.

Martin Hirte

 

Dr. Martin Hirte is a pediatrician, homeopath and allergy specialist.  From 1985 to 1990 he worked in children’s clinics in Regensburg and Munich. Since 1990 he has been an established pediatrician in a practice in the heart of Munich. He is a popular speaker on homeopathic topics and vaccination with national organizations of homeopathic and anthroposophical doctors. Martin Hirte is a member of a pediatric homeopathy quality circle and coordinator of the group “Doctors for Individual Choice in Vaccination.”

Vaccination is his special interest, on which he has published the popular work Impfen - Pro & Contra (“Vaccination – For and Against” – German only) He is one of the main authors of the major textbook Homöopathie in der Kinder- und Jugendmedizin (“Homeopathic Medicine for Children and Young People” – German only).  His latest book is Differenzierung homöopathischer Kindermittel (“Differentiation of Children’s Homeopathic Remedies” – German only).

Heiner Frei
 

Dr. Heiner Frei is a doctor specializing in children and young people in Laupen near Bern in Switzerland. After completing his medical studies at the University of Bern, he passed his state examination in 1977. He specializes in pediatrics in children’s clinics in Bern und Lucerne, with emphasis on pediatric surgery, neonatal and developmental medicine, and intensive care.
He was assistant medical director for pediatric hematology/oncology at the university children’s clinic in Bern from 1984 to 1987. Since 1987 he has run his own pediatric practice. In the same year he began training in classical homeopathy.  From 2001 to 2005 he was President of the Swiss Doctors’ Homeopathic Association.

Research: Since 1996 he has carried out and published studies on acute tonsillitis, otitis media, ADS/ADHS and other topics.

Dr. Heiner Frei is known for his extensive experience in the treatment of children with ADHS and his book on this topic Die homöopathische Behandlung von Kindern mit ADS/ADHS (“The Homeopathic Treatment of Children with ADS/ADHS” – German only). He has also explained his experience with the  Boenninghausen Method in Effiziente homöopathische Behandlung (“Efficient Homeopathic Treatment” – German only).

Registration is binding.  With payment by direct debit, the amount due will be taken 6 weeks before the date the seminar starts. For cancellations up to 2 weeks before the seminar start, an administrative fee of € 25 is payable.  Refunds are not possible after this date.  Receipt of payment is required to reserve a seminar place.  

On Saturday evening we warmly invite you to our publishing house in Kandern.  A welcome drink and snacks will be provided and the authors will be available to sign copies of their books. You are also most welcome to browse at your leisure through the wide assortment of books on four floors. A free shuttle bus will run from Badenweiler to Kandern and back (leaving from Badenweiler at 19.00 hrs, a 20 min. journey, returning from Kandern to Badenweiler at 21:00 hrs). By Car
Stay on the motorway (Autobahn) A5 until you reach the exit „Müllheim/Neuenburg/Badenweiler“ (exit 65). From there, follow the signs to „Badenweiler“ (around 12 km). In Badenweiler drive in the direction of „Parkplatz West/Parkhaus“. From there, you can walk to the “Kurhaus” (ca. 200 m).

By train and bus
Take the train to Müllheim (Baden). From there, you catch the bus no. 111 to Badenweiler, the bus stop is „Evangelisch (ev.) Kirche“. From there, you walk for approx. one minute in the driving direction of the bus. You will reach a large square with a fountain, and on you right you can see the „Kurhaus” (terraced building).
