Reptiles - Spectrum of Homeopathy 02/2018
Sujit Chatterjee, Rajan Sankaran, Meghna Shah: Naked and unprotected
Two cases from the remedy group Testudines show – apart from the general pattern of animal remedies and the well-known themes of the reptiles – specific features highlighting the living environment of the turtles at the sensation level. Two polar experiences are described: on the one hand being exposed, naked, and unprotected, and on the other hand being shielded and hidden in the comfort zone of a hard shell, although this prevents growth and free development. The differential diagnosis to the molluscs and the elements of the second row are discussed. Control, (in)dependence, and freedom are important themes for both patients.
