Due to the good results in the treatment of Covid-19 in Iran and India, early in the pandemic the author recommended Camphora as an epidemic remedy and it has also been successfully used as a prophylactic. Camphora corresponds to the genus epidemicus in terms of the illness dynamic and the symptoms, including for serious cases and at the sensation level. Case histories are used to illustrate three different homeopathic treatment approaches. Remedy selection is thereby made on the basis of the genus epidemicus or the totality of the individual symptoms, or alternatively the constitutional remedy is used. The necessity of changing remedies and the selection of a suitable potency are also discussed.
