Jan Scholten: Independent once again despite HIV
This article is a condensed version of a report on a pilot study in Kenya in 2006 on the efficacy of the remedy Iquilai, a homeopathic remedy developed by Jan Scholten for the treatment of HIV / AIDS. 228 patients, both those taking ARV medication and those not taking medication, took part in a double-blind study. The most significant result of this pilot study is that more than 90% of the patients showed improvement in their health. Within two weeks, an improvement in appetite and an increase in energy and weight could be observed. In addition more than 90% of the patients recovered from opportunistic infections, marked by the disappearance of diarrhoea, respiratory infections, and skin problems. This applied to both patients treated with conventional drugs and the group not receiving any ARV treatment. An improvement in quality of life could be observed in the whole research group. Practically the
whole population regained independent functioning after treatment with Iquilai.
