Marguerite Pelt: Soft and insecure
A crystalline form of gypsum, Alabaster contains calcium sulphate and homeopathically has much in common with the salt Calcium sulphuricum. One sees the same insecurity and jealousy, though a reduced tendency to complain. The distinguishing feature is the sense of heaviness and pressure common to the stone remedies. The following case of a man with depression and insecurity illustrates this remedy.
