Spiders and Scorpions - Spectrum of Homeopathy 02/2020
Jörg Wichmann: Big, brown, and not very poisonous

This issue of SPECTRUM focuses on our commonest and closest neighbours. Often overlooked, rarely appreciated but often feared – the arachnids. Numerous and comprising many species, they inhabit our houses and gardens, lurking in every hard-toreach corner of our rooms, and can quickly take over complete control in uninhabited rooms.

We homeopaths often have them in our practices but frequently find it hard to say precisely which arachnid is sitting in front of us. The homeopaths of old were confused as to the precise nomenclature and things have not improved greatly with the modern generation of homeopaths. “Big, brown, and not very poisonous” is certainly not a great help in identifying the required species.
