Preface

A symptom is a message which is telling you "be aware that some kinds of pathogen or foreign materials are invading your body" whilst at the same time it is a grateful thing which appears in the process of discharging these pathogens and foreign materials from your body. It goes without saying that the modern medical science regards the symptom as a bad thing and therefore believes that it has to be suppressed. However, the impropriety of this viewpoint is well known amongst all decent therapists.
Similarly, the emotion is a message which is telling you "be aware that a particular concept of value is invading your mind" whilst at the same time I actually have a hunch that it may be the case that the emotion appears in order to discharge the concept of value. By looking at it in this way, I realized that the various strata within the symptoms of the suppression amazingly corresponded to that of the emotional suppression...
