Bio Matcha Pulver ist fein gemahlener Grüntee. Er gehört zur japanischen Teetradition und gilt als der Meditationstee der japanischen Mönche.
Die für die Matcha Produktion ausgewählten Teesträucher werden vor der Ernte voll beschattet. Das fördert den Inhaltsstoffgehalt, verleiht den Blättern eine intensive dunkelgrüne Farbe und ein spezielles Aroma. Für Matcha Pulver wird nur das feine Blattgewebe verwendet. Dazu werden die Teeblätter nach der Ernte gedämpft, getrocknet und zerbrochen, um alle anderen Blattbestandteile schonend von den zarten Gewebestrukturen zu trennen. Diese außerordentliche Teequalität zeichnet Matcha Pulver aus.
Bio Matcha Pulver enthält zahlreiche Vitamine, Mineralstoffe und sekundäre Pflanzenstoffe.
Bio Matcha Pulver wird traditionell als Tee genossen. Es verleiht aber auch unter anderem Matcha-Eis, Matcha-Latte, Smoothies, Limonaden oder Gebäck einen milden süßlichen bis herben Geschmack.
