Wasserlinsen (lat. Lemna minor) gehören zu den Pflanzengesellschaften langsam fließender oder stehender Gewässer und kommen auf der ganzen Welt vor. Sie sind die kleinsten bekannten Blütenpflanzen, die meist nur aus einem kleinen grünen Schwimmblatt und einem etwa 10mm langen, frei ins Wasser hängenden Würzelchen bestehen. Durch vegetative Sprossung enstehen aus dem Schwimmblatt weitere Pflänzchen, die von Juni bis September ganze Teiche bedecken können. Wasserlinsen enthalten Spuren von Jod und Vitamin B12.

Alkoholgehalt: 8,2%
